Mazdak Shadkam

Mazdak is an Iranian artist and engineer residing in the United State. He was born in Tehran, the capital of Iran. As a self trained photographer, he started his art practice in 2005 and did photography until 2012 when he started his Masters degree in studio arts at Washington State University. Since then, he has been exploring sculpture, video and installation art beside photography, sometimes in the form of combining different mediums to shape a single conceptual entity or switching between 2D and 3D based on the concept demand.
